The Hardedge is a powerful sword wielded by the character Cloud Strife in the video game Final Fantasy VII. It is notable for its high attack power and the powerful, albeit slow-to-build, “Infinity’s End” Limit Break. The blade is inscribed with the kanji “一刀両断” (Ittō ryōdan), which translates to “cutting into two with a single stroke”.
